Reem Island wakes up early, and so do we. Dunken Monkey opens at 6:00 AM every day, which makes it one of the first places on the island where you can sit down with a proper coffee.
What to order
Start with a cappuccino or a flat white from the hot menu, or go straight to our best-selling Cold Coffee Classic if the weather calls for it. Add a plain or chocolate croissant, or pick one of the egg sandwiches if you want something more filling. The Egg & Guacamole and Egg & Smoked Chicken sandwiches are both made to order.
If you prefer breakfast in a bowl, the smoothie bowls are the move. The Dry Fruit bowl is topped with dates, figs, granola and pecans, and it comes in two sizes.
Where to sit
Mornings are the calmest time in the café. The window tables get the best light, and the armchairs are free more often than not. Wi-Fi is on the house if you need to clear your inbox first.
